Mary Barth, Hospital Administrator

Mary Barth is a native of Syracuse, NY. She received her degree from the University of New York at Oswego in Human Resources Management. With over 11 years of experience in the veterinary field, she started with Village Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2006 as the Hospital Administrator.
Recently, Mary started the Eastern Tennessee Veterinary Management Group. She is also a member of the Veterinary Hospital Management Association.
Her interests include kayaking, reading, working with stained glass, and spending time with her husband Jerry, 3 dogs (Clementine, Phoebe, Annie), 2 cats (Emma & Andie) and umbrella cockatoo (Elliott).
Beth Scissom, Client Care Coordinator
Beth grew up in Florida but has lived in the Knoxville area for the last 18 years. With over 9 years of experience in the veterinary field, Beth brings a great deal of experience to our team.
When not working, Beth shares her home with her husband Dave, a Black Lab named Sophie, a Boston Terrier named Shady, and two cats. They also have 4 grown children.
Beth enjoys traveling and has been to Italy, London, France, Amsterdam and many of the U.S. states. Her hobbies include boating, cooking, and gardening.
Karen Rohde, Client Care Representative
Karen is a native New Yorker although she spent the last 15 years in Florida. She has a bachelors in Sociology and has a love for animals as well as people. She and her husband John share their lives with their daughter Kaylin, a dog, 2 cats, and a horse.
Her hobbies include camping, hiking, cooking and gardening!

Aimee Boer, Client Care Representative
Aimee is originaly from Omaha, NE. She spent the last 10 years in Franklin and Knoxville, TN. In December 2007, she graduated from UT with a degree in sociology. She joined Village in July of 2008.
Aimee has 3 pets; a cat named Teddy, a rabbit named Willow, and a kitten that is in need of a name.
In her spare time, Aimee enjoys gardening, learning to sew, and spending time outdoors.
June Corum, Client Care Representative
Juniper Corum grew up in Hampton Roads, VA until she was whisked to Knoxville in 2008 to marry her soon-to-be husband, Charlie. She joins Village with over four years experience in the veterinary industry.
June has been acting since a young age and is addicted to the stage! In fact, she spends most of her free time singing with her husband on their churches worship team and teaching the youth group skits and acting skills. Her hobbies include writing songs, cooking, reading, photography, and eventually owning a therapy dog.
June and Charlie share their home with a Maine Coon mix named Glock, and a guinea pig named SWAT.
Shannon Warrington, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Shannon is a graduate of Blue Ridge College in Weyers Cave, VA. With approximately 10 years of experience in the veterinary field, she joined Village in June 2008.
Married for 17 years, Shannon has 2 "furry" children, Humphrey and William. Both of whom are FIV rescue kitties.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys traveling, running, cooking and is a HUGE football and UFC fan!
Marcy Dochtermann, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Marcy is originally from Maine. She holds a degree in Veterinary Technology from the Vermont Technical College and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) since 2006. She is also a member of the National Association for Veterinary Technicians. With over 8 years experience, she has been with Village Veterinary Clinic since 2003.
Marcy has three cats, Tucker, Mica, and Trotter.
During her spare time, she enjoys reading, cross-stiching, and spending time with her friends.
Kristin Burge, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kristin is a native Southern Californian that recently relocated to Tennessee. She attended Pierce College in Woodland Hills, CA and received her Associates of Science degree in 2000. Although she's been in the veterinary field for approximately 13 years, she became a registered veterinary technician in 2000. She's worked at several animal hospitals from daytime practices to emergency hospitals, in which she received an array of knowledge helping critical care patients.
Kristin lives with her husband Mark, and their two daughters, Madeline and Phoebe. They also have several critters in their household; Samantha and Macy (kitty cats), Chiquita Belle (doggie), Petie (canary), Stewie (Russion dwarf hamster), Ebie (anole lizard) and several goldfish, which their names change daily if you ask their daughters.
When Kristin has spare time she loves to spend it with her family, exploring and traveling to new places and watching old movies, playing Texas hold um poker and Sumo wrestling.
Nicole Shuey, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Nicole is a native of Highlands Ranch, CO. She has lived in Arizona, California, South Dakota, Florida, and Nebraska. Nicole graduated from Northeast College in Norfolk, NE in 2007, before moving to Knoxville. She is currently engaged and will be married in August of 2008.
She enjoys all outdoor activities including biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and running. When she is not doing that, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and her two cats, Pumpkin and Gnarly.

Lynn Nard, Veterinary Assistant
Lynn was born and raised in Nashville, TN . She is the youngest of four children.
With an Associates degree in Small Business Management, and several years experience, Lynn has plans to continue her education working towards a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Who knows- maybe you will see her as Dr. Nard down the road!
Lynn has two wonderful pekingese, Brodie and Mirra. In her free time, she likes to go camping, hiking, boating, and fishing.
